ANTAEUS has been around since 1991. I've worn it since then - when I was a kid (but this ISN'T 'kid-stuff', or it's one VERY advanced, sophisticated kid), and have worn it since.

There are only 2 fragrances I wear; ANTAEUS, and in the winter, I alternate with KNIZE TEN (fabulous, 1920's scent that's almost impossible to buy in stores in the US).

ANTAEUS NEVER fails to get attention. EVER. It's a rich (not $-wise, but in 'complex'), deep, earthy, masculine, and very, VERY sexy men's fragrance.

I feel naked without it.

So many colognes today (and not just colognes, but, well, a lot of other things) equate price with style, luxury. ANTAEUS is not extremely priced. But there is NOTHING like it.

I feel like I'm writing a lot of adjectives, but, there's really not much else I can say about ANTAEUS, other than to say; when you decide it's time to grow up, and you want to smell like a sexy, stylish, sophisticated MAN, and not everyone else, not one of these 'kids' with their over-priced, unsophisticated 'toilet'-water, that's 'in' one moment and passé the next, nor think some-thing's 'quality' because so-and-so wear's it/endorses it, look no further. There's nothing close to it, and nothing like it.

You'll never look anywhere again. Ever.

CHANEL 123962 Review by Petrus

I bought this cologne in 2011 based on some good reviews online. I'm sad to report it's not at all or even close to what it should be. This cologne smells much like something worn by someone that's 50 years plus (perhaps 80yrs old Grama). I dare not wear it around a lady who is under 38 years old. But than again, there a fragrance or every occasion :). Won't be purchasing this one again.

I ordered Antaeus through Amazon and was very disappointed. There was no indication that I was ordering a "tester" until the order arrived. It was missing the cap for the bottle and an insert said that I had ordered a tester without a cap. I will never order from this supplier again and Amazon should make sure that there is disclosure that the product is not as pictured. This was very misleading and should not happen when you spend that much for a product.
